Renewable Energy Presentation
This project was an introduction to using Keynote, Telestream Screenflow and iMovie for presentation creation on the topic of renewable energy. The intended target audience comprised of individuals ages 12 to adult that are interested in alternative ways to provide energy to their homes and communities. After serval iterations and modifications, the below presentation shows simplified data appealing selected target audience. More detailed descriptions of each stage have been included below.
Project Glimpse
Screenshot overview of each slide and the final iMovie interface showing slides, transitions, narration and background music audio. The background media file was ducked behind the narration with a volume that does not distract the viewer from the audio and visual information.
Title Slide
Title slide's theme shows shades of orange that depict feelings of energy and happiness. The setting of the sun in offset of the matches text color that contrasts with the dark solar panel image. Using an energy-efficient white lightbulb aligns with the idea of interest as stated in the text of the title.
Project Theme and Presentation of Data
Types and percentages of renewable energy created in the United States presents complex information easily. Using Adobe Illustrator to create and reshape images as well as using Keynote to change colors of each element in the graphic section showing data in a visually pleasing way.
Keeping consistent with energy theme, a sunset image over a darkened landscape with wind solar energy allows for contrast from data chart section without distraction.
Video Presentation Production
The following iMovie screenshot shows additional transitions, and background audio for the purpose of enhancing the visual effect of the presentation so that the viewer does not bore. The background audio had to be ducked behind the narration volume to minimize distraction and distortion.
